Still not reopened so call before you go. Don't let this ward you off though when they do reopen. Delicious bread and hoagies--hope new owners are to the same standard! Please update your Google page though so that you don't scare off future customers as it says on Google you're open when infact you're still closed for renovations. Thanks!! Long term customer.

We bought a cake for Mothers day. It was delicious. Their products are always perfect.

Over-rated and overpriced. The buttercream cake had an air bubble the size of my palm in the icing on top which looked like a big pimple (very presentable). I found the flavor much too rich and with a heavy artificial flavor. The cranberry salad was rotten. All and all $48 I pretty much chucked out the window. My fault for going in after seeing it crawling with hipsters.

Had our wedding cake made here, it was a huge hit and the entire thing was gobbled up that night. They offer a fresh topper cake on your 1 year anniversary so you don't have to eat frozen year old cake. So lovely!

People still talk rapturously about what it was, how it was formerly held in such high regard, its authenticity and its former importance among local bakery fans. Understand a new owner wants to reopen it as some sort of plastic fantastic L.A. eaterie clone. Who cares.
